Kerim Tulun brings over a decade of experience serving the unique needs of individuals, families, and businesses. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Kerim takes a holistic approach when advising clients- collaborating with a team of professionals including accountants, attorneys and insurance agents. Kerim’s experience provides his clients with a clearly defined roadmap to pursue their most important financial goals with confidence and ensures that nothing is overlooked.
Kerim has earned the highly regarded CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. The CFP® certification has become the recognized standard of excellence for personal financial planning. Rigorous testing in a wide range of topic areas, experience requirements and strict ongoing ethical conduct are necessary to obtain and hold the CFP® certification mark. Kerim maintains his series 7, 66 licenses as well as the New York State life and health insurance licenses.
Prior to joining Vanderbilt in 2018, he spent several years at UBS managing portfolios and providing comprehensive financial planning services for families and businesses.
Away from work, Kerim enjoys spending time with his wife Victoria and their child Taner. He loves the outdoors, enjoys competing in Crossfit and is actively working towards lowering his golf handicap. Kerim supports many charities. Most recently, he's been volunteering his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, where he is actively a mentor, friend, supporter, and a positive and consistent addition to the life of a child.
